May the Fourth be with you… and all who have been touched by ‘Star Wars’

A long time ago in a galaxy very, very close… (actually the same galaxy, same planet tbh). I was introduced to ‘Star Wars’, my mom told me about it as far back as I can remember. My abuelo had the original trilogy on VHS and I remember watching them all the time.

‘Star Wars’ is where my creativity and my mind started wondering (even tho my mind STAY wondering 25/8) and thinking of the possibilities. I just loved every single thing George Lucas offered. Then, when I was a kid the prequel trilogy came out. I’ll be honest I thought they SLAPPED. I mean I was like 3-8 years old, of course I thought that shit was the coolest thing ever.
I was Anakin Skywalker for three Halloweens in a row. I collected all the lightsabers. I had every single one except for Plo Koon’s and Ki-Adi-Mundi’s. If I got in trouble as a kid, I would get my lightsabers taken away. Big RIP to the time I LITERALLY bought Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber, then I got in trouble and my mom took it away. Six-year-old me was crying, no cap.
Now, I know, and we ALL know that the prequels have aged poorly, especially that CGI. However, ‘Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith’ is undoubtedly a banger.
My sister and I could quote the whole final battle scene between Obi-Wan and Anakin, no mistakes.

‘Star Wars’ has brought me so many good memories and it is a place of escapism for myself. I know I’m not alone either, when I say that.
I mean my first tattoo is a ‘Star Wars’ tattoo and there will be more. ‘Star Wars’ has left such a huge impact on me and not just in the sense of films and entertainment, but life lessons, creativity, and dreams.
Now, I’ll tell you what I love most about the world of ‘Star Wars’… the passion.
It shouldn’t be surprising at all, because RED Creatives was created because of my passions. ‘Star Wars’ has its’ moments of being cheesy, but when those moments, in the original and prequel trilogies, are executed you notice that is genuine and said with meaning. In the sequel trilogy you don’t see that, and it doesn’t capture that spark, like its predecessors.
‘Star Wars’, I won’t say much about the sequel trilogy as this is an appreciation and an homage to ‘Star Wars’, but I will say that ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ was a promising start for the trilogy but died as quickly as Greedo.
Luckily… Dave Filoni and now Jon Faverau have saved ‘Star Wars’ by bringing back that love, spirit, and passion that it has been missing for a while. For example 'Clone Wars', 'Rebels', 'The Mandalorian', etc. They have recaptured the essence that makes 'Star Wars', 'Star Wars'.
My favorite ‘Star Wars’ movie of all time—might come off as basic, but I will write a review for this. Then, my choice will NOT be so basic.
‘Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back’
You CAN'T tell me otherwise. It is not only a perfect ‘Star Wars’ movie, but a perfect film in general. It is my first 100/100 ever.
Now, I must ask these last few things…
1) Who do you think is the TRUE chosen one?
2) Which ‘Star Wars’ movie is your favorite, why?
3) Do you agree with the ways of the Jedis?
4) Would you rather be a Jedi or Wizard, why?
Deadass answer these questions and reach out to me! Whether through DM, text message, phone call, whatever. I just want to know your thoughts and opinions!
Remember… May the force be with you, always.
P.S. I do a killer Yoda impression. I hope you all are safe and well. Thank you for your support and sticking with me. I have a handful of articles coming. There is one that I want to share that is personal, but I don’t know… I’m nervous to share, we’ll see. Love you all.
